Public transport services to operate according to autumn timetables

As the active summer and holiday season comes to an end and the new school year begins, buses, trolleybuses and trams will traditionally switch to their autumn timetables. From Tuesday, 1 September, the timetables in effect before the transition to the summer schedule will be reinstated on tram route No. 1, bus route No. 3, and trolleybus routes Nos. 4 and 17, both on weekdays and weekends.

Meanwhile, from 31 August on weekdays and from 5 September on weekends, with the active beach season coming to an end, the timetables in effect until the beginning of the summer season on 30 May will be reinstated on bus routes Nos. 36 and 58. Route No. 58 buses will no longer operate to Vecāķi and will return to their regular route, “Purvciems – Vecmīlgrāvis.”

Along with the changes to the timetable of bus route No. 36, minor adjustments will also be made to the timetable of bus route No. 56 to ensure better coordination of departure times and more convenient connections between the two routes.

The new timetables will be posted at stops over the next few days. The autumn timetables will also be published on the company’s website in the “Routes and Timetables” section. To make it easier for passengers to find the latest information, the timetables will be marked with an effective date, for example, “From 01.09.2026.”
